A gigantic, hollow form is sleepwalking through the space- lethargic and powerless. Born from an intense confrontation with the feeling of being overwhelmed by the daily flood of information, and a tendency towards exhaustion and oversaturation in society, a sculptural work has emerged that physically imposes, offers protection, yet remains an empty shell. The surface consists of towels soaked in brown paint, already crusted over. Inside, one finds the symbol of sluggishness in the spinal cord—the snail—deeply absorbed in itself. The snail as biological being has the trait of retracting its feelers when it encounters something that frightens it. When it's ready, it extends its feelers again and faces whatever lies ahead.
