Lake la Tüté is man-made lake. Its manufactured from welded plastic, reminding of a plastic bag floating in the ocean. It tells the story of the slow transformation from nature to a synthetic world. With the rising percentage of microplastic in our waters the turning point in this work seems to be reached, where we should start to use the term plastic instead of nature for a lake. Our Image of nature is overdrawn and pervaded by a shiny varnish layer. Plastic becomes the (in)visible skin of nature.
